There is no cutting involved in the install of the Carven kit, it's a direct bolt on.

Just wanted to follow up on this thread, looks like carven just dropped their dump exit kit for less than half the price of the magnaflow kit. this is for sure what I’m gonna be going with, plus the guys over there are super chill and their 100 year warranty is nice.

Carven exhaust is going to be coming out with a dump exit next month, I saw their Tacoma at toyotafest and it sounded pretty sick. That's what im going to be going with for sure, I had their kit on my 3rd gen and loved it.
