Had the transmission and torque converter replaced at 6336 miles, and now at 10k we're back at the dealership for a separate issue. I was hearing some noise from my front driver side suspension, and the switch/button to change between 2h/4h/4l broke.
The switch is pretty straight forward, said it'd take a day to get a new one. However, the thing that concerns me is the root cause of the noise in my suspension. Turns it, it's a special missing bolt to the front sway bar. They have not elaborated on which bolt, but said it'd take a week to get... which tells me it's a pretty specific item. I asked if the lack of the bolt had cause other damage and didn't get much of an answer. Second, I don't exactly believe the bolt just fell off the truck... I've been off road a couple times since my transmission change, and I noticed there was play in the suspension that should not be there. While driving down the road, things felt normal, occasionally I would hear noise when turning and driving up my curb to my driveway.
I suspect they took the sway bar off when they had to change my transmission, and failed to properly re-install.
