Muslogy sent me this for my 14” radio screen, very nice fit and usable storage areas on top. Also cutout for the USB port and silicon inserts that can be removed for cleaning.

I wonder what the effects of vibration from rough gravel, dirt roads has on the 14" screen with one of these attachments. Like the idea of more useful storage than current Taco's give, but am concerned that over time they might cause damage.

They do have adhesive strips to use if you want them. But it stays pretty secure without them.

Yes, but - the extra weight on the whole top and upper sides of the screen being jostled by the washboard and rough surfaces of rural unpaved roads is my concern. Forty-five miles of gravel road before turning into the back country can shake fillings outta teeth; the shelf would be really handy, but concerned about the cost over time if it shakes the display too much.

I can understand your concerns, but I don’t think it would hurt. The display.

Maybe if it's not fixed to the dash with the adhesive strips, it would move witht he display and not with the dash, which might put undo pressure on the display. Then again, if fixed with the adhesive strips, it might actually act as a brace for the display making the display mount more solid. Really hard to tell how it could affect it, if at all... Sorry, I guess this wasn't much help at all!
