2024/25 Fender Flares

Silly question but can anyone confirm if the OEM 2024/25 Tacoma TRD Off Road plain black fender flares are made out of the same hard plastic material as the OEM TRD sport paintable fender flares? I am asking because I want mine painted but the body shop doesn’t recommend it in terms of longevity.

I guess I could always wrap them but rather have them painted and then clear PPF.

I notice the material are bit different from 3G. 4G Fender flares are easily to be scratched than 3G. You can look into NYTOP Fender Flares.

The nytop flares stick out too far for my liking. With my +25 offset the factory flares look is perfect.
