I haven’t owned any Tacomas and I know nothing of the clearance with suspension and steering elements. However, I owned a Hyundai Santa Fe and switched out the stock 235/60/18 for 245/60/18. No issues at all. My Highlander I switched out 245/60/18 for 255/60/18. No issues at all. I assume/know that the Tacoma will be able to handle going from 265 to 275 width and/or from 65 to 70 sidewall ratio. I will be looking to get a Sport Manual and I have already thought of going to 275 width when the original tires need replacing.
Larger size is good but also want to change from the standard road type tire it comes with to something with a little bite. And All Terrain tire I believe.

Very good point. I hadn’t considered that. Good luck. I am sure it’s gonna look great.

You think thats without making any significant changes to the truck?
Going one size larger than factory requires little to no mods. Mud flap trim or removal is all that is needed worse case scenario.
