What are the differences between the 2024 and 2025 other than hopefully working out some bugs and issues with the early production trucks? Are there any interesting additions, deletions or features in the new model year?

Late June 24 build, it’s solid! For now, Looks like Toyota got most the bugs worked out pretty early!

Edit: 12,600 miles

The temptation is there lol, i actually found a 2024 to exact build im currently waiting for in a 2025 model, …….as of now im at dealers mercy for the phone call that they have a vin# on truck being built , in color, options, and its starting to feel like a unicorn hunt, nothing unusual , but the hybrids are coming in very slow , the color is now hard to find amongst the normal, black, underground ,white and silver ……….however there is the exact truck i want ?? Dammit , i looked the vin up and it does fall into the catagory of the trans issues ………but has the issues been reduced, not sure .
November is sat down at my dealer , expressed the exact truck i hoped for, gave a $1000.00 deposit
{refundable }. And everyday i check websites, dealerships incoming listings and this damn truck isnt showing up, perhaps im just restless, i dont know, New trucks come with warrenty, and if it blows up its covered , so im sitting here seeing other guys experiances and it seems kind of minimal, whereas other guys are running smooth, ugh ! Shit…lol im very ,very tempted to just walk in ,write the check, get my truck and cross my fingers, What do you guys think.
The 2024 will have a price reduction i know , its a left over and this truck has been on their lot since november, so i will get a deal on it , What do you guys think

Hi All, I may have not been clear in my questions. I am not asking so much about bug fixes, I have a late 2024 and have had ZERO problems or complaints. I love this truck. My question centers on any changes/features that may be different. Any new options and things like that?

If you have a lot of patience, the 2025 version of your truck will likely come through at some point.

I ordered a 2025 Hybrid TRD Off Road on January 10th (the last day for January allocations) and it is scheduled to be built tomorrow. However, there happened to be a 2025 allocation in queue nearby that met all of my requirements (the extras that it has on top of my requirements are all completely acceptable to me).

If I couldn't find a 2025 allocation that worked for me, I would have gone with the 2024.
Most of the 2024's I see are marked down $3000-3500

My 2025 is Supersonic Red. Toyota does not seem to make very many of them in the Hybrid.

@EastonTaco The short answer is that other than colors, the 2025 Tacos are essentially identical to the 2024s. It is uncommon for Toyota to make any major changes in the second model year of a new model.

Nothing new. Don't expect many changes until the mid cycle refresh probably for the 27 model year. Use the Tundra as your guide. It was introduced as a 2022 model and mechanically and feature wise it is basically the same for the 25 MY. That being said it looks like the 25 Tundra gets a "rally package" option for $9000 and the top trims get massaging seats". So there is that.

I have a Week 48 build, and the 2025 models started production in Week 50. My truck is perfect. If you can find a 2024 model that meets your requirements and isn’t affected by the TSB, just go ahead and buy it.

My story about waiting for a truck is well-known on this forum; you’ll be fine.

I can't speak for all other trims, but on the PRO (since that's the one I'm getting) and TH, I've noticed minor changes like the front recovery hooks are painted red, a 4th prewired aux switch made available and a new Mudbath color. (I believe the height of the front seats have been raised up a bit...not sure where I saw that; might need to ask a buddy of mine who works for Toyota.) Other than minor tweaks here and there, its practically the same truck as the 24s.

Patience is key! For me, I've been patiently waiting since last June 2024 to get my hands on an Underground PRO. Being on any waitlist sucks! Seeing everyone enjoying their new trucks while I live vicariously through their adventures. At first, I started with a small crate to store all the parts and accessories I've accumulated since last June. Now it has slowly flooded into my parent's garage...kinda hard hiding a Seibon carbon fiber hood under my bed, lol. 😅

How did they raise the seats?
