2024 Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter, 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee (very modified!)
I am waiting on delivery of my Trailhunter sometime (?) in September. I am a SAR technician and this will be my second purpose-built SAR rescue truck. First was a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee (3 pages of mods!) and since the Trailhunter comes from factory with most of them, my mod list is less than a page.

Lighting needs to be enhanced. I plan to install 3 pairs of KC C2 scene lights for escort duty (light search areas to side of truck for dog teams, ground teams, and then gear loading/subject treatment to rear), front and rear amber light bars for safety/traffic control, besides the usual bumper with winch, commercial radios, storage systems for the bed (Leitner, Decked)...

Does anyone know of a system that I can wire my lighting systems into that can fee the OEM switches in the Tacoma TH? There are the three pre-wired switches (not sure what is intended to go to them, 5A, 10A, 15A in three locations) along with another blank with two blanks on the console (2). If I can use the OEM locations I can cleanly and logically install light switches.

SPODS would add a controller separate from OEM... and makes a mount or will make one that can go in the sunglass holder area. So does Switch Pros... and OEMPANELS.COM is apparently making an OEM switch panel...

I would like to use stock locations if possible rather than add more panels to an already crowded driver compartment.

THANKS

You want to add aftermarket switches to feed power to the oem output locations?

Garmin makes a power bank that mounts in the engine bay on top of the battery. Bluetooth connects to your phone so no need to run wires through the firewall

That would be awesome if the app had Carplay connectivity.. then control the module from the display on dash

I just uploaded a video on how I wired mine to the prewired switches, I'll link it again, and its also on my created posts.

Thanks, everyone. So... the Garmin PowerSwitch could control up to six devices via Android Auto? Intriguing.
