Wow..that could be next week. That gives me hope here on the east coast. My dealer couldn't give me a Vin but he said the arrival window is April 13-17.

I was effectively told the same thing a week and a half ago (with slightly different dates of April 3-12).

That's possible, there doesn't seem to be much transparency in the build and delivery process.
It teaches patience I guess

My AB dealer delivery date is being pushed from April 6 to…. Late April or early May. Actually the dealer says they have no idea. How can that be? The truck has a VIN number now but the dealer cannot get any updates on a built truck delivery? If true that dealers are not told anything that seems really arrogant or just plain poor of Toyota Canada to not care to track or share location of an expensive item like this. Obviously, I am just disappointed and frustrated. Maybe I’ll order a 20$ pizza and be able to track its entire progress from the oven to my home.

I feel your frustrations my friend. Toyota Canada really needs to re-evaluate how they treat their northern customers. From order, to options, to updates on your ordered vehicle. It does appear that Toyota Canada gives zero information on tracking the vehicle from factory to delivery, my dealership was completely in the dark with mine and when I took delivery of mine they were damn near sure they wouldn't see anymore for another 6 months. Not even a week later they got a surprise delivery of a TRD Offroad.

It's pretty apparent Toyota operates in Canada because they can, not because they need to lol. At least, that's how it feels. Hopefully your dealership takes care of you at the very least, I have to say my dealership is down right wonderful, bunch of amazing people there.

Look on the bright side, when it does finally arrive it's going to be one hell of an amazing day for you lol.

Thanks Kielly for your supportive response. At least I’m glad I am not being singled out for these things given your experience. And yes, I will be super pleased when I get the call after waiting more than 10 months since placing my deposit. Good thing I didn’t order the RAV4 PHEV, I would probably not live long enough to see it.

My TRD Sport premium came a week early in Edmonton. I had 2 allocations and the one at Gateway Toyota is now opened up probably (unless they gave it to another customer in line). That truck should be here this week or next if you’re interested. I know Sherwood park Toyota also had an Off Road Premium in stock on Monday…
