I did not get the bed tie downs from Toyota when I got my truck a few months back. I am now helping someone move and really wish I had them.

I hate rolling the dice because you don't know if it's quality until you're doing 55 mph moving someone's dryer.

I am reluctant to buy the fancy aluminum ones that are easily in the hundreds once you get 4 for the rails and the bed.

I need help finding something that is strong and works. I don't need it to color match, I just need it to be strong. The bed tie downs I would like to have fold flat so they're out of the way daily and I can grab them when I need.

I see sets for 350 to 400ish mentioned on here but that's a big chunk of change. I will if I have to, but I really would like some help seeing what else is out there.

Thank you.

Do all models and trim levels get the tie-downs and hooks? If so, then your dealer needs to pony up.

My dealer was not super nice once they had my money. There is no way they're going to "pony up" anything. I've tried to find it in the car, gone through everything, but it wasn't included.

Not my favorite situation but I priced out a set from a retail sponsor and they were 650!! There doesn't seem to be a middle ground for some reason.

There are a lot of inexpensive DIY tips on you tube, simple systems, just by using the track system on trucks, spring nuts that go into the track as well as D-Ring swivel set ups. Some really great ideas

Are you looking for bed rail hooks

or bed hooks?

I added some bed side d-rings (Toyota part for gen-3 trucks). A bit pricey but swivel and fold flat. (

There are also these, which bolt on in place of the bed mounting bolts. https://versatrax.com/products/l-tr...-anchors-tacoma-tundra?variant=45265430774011
I bought a pair but haven't installed them.

Also, a lot of people have used tie-down rings from dodge sprinter vans on gen3 trucks. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/installed-d-rings-in-the-bed-pics.28533/

I already bought a set of these for my (future) 4G Taco...the kit is only $360. But if you do plan on going down this route, I would suggest getting the D-Ring ($150) too...it completes the look (both functional and aesthetically pleasing).

If yours didn't come with them then the dealer needs to grab them off another truck..
We paid so much for these Tacoma's you should get what you paid for... I'm pretty sure all models came with the tie downs

I agree with what has been mentioned above regarding having the dealership give them to you and would add that they should have provided the longer hitch pin as well. I think mine were in a plastic bag on the floor behind the seat.
