Build Update! Wheels and tires are now mounted! I originally wanted to go Method 703 in black but this was my opportunity to finally put bronze wheels on a car/truck. I didn’t care for 703s in Bronze, but Method recently released the 318 and it is brilliant in bronze! 110% satisfied with my choice!

Wheel specs:
Method MR318 17x8.5 25mm off-set

Tire specs:
BF Goodrich KO3 285/70R17 Load rating C

Looks good! Stock height still I assume? Impressive you can fit that size tire with minimal work. I’ll be doing 285/75r17 as well.

yep, stock height until I figure out what leveling option to go with. Would need to start a YouTube channel to get a Wescott kit any time soon. 🙃

Haha I was wanting to go with Westcott’s lift too. I don’t have my truck yet so I still have time to think.

are you rubbing at all?

Be careful. Tires shown earlier unmounted are 285/70R17. As pointed out earlier KO 3’s are presently not available in 285/75R17. I don’t believe a tire that size will fit without rub without a lift or modification.

that said the wheels and tires look great!

It’s possible that he meant to say KO2, as KO2s are available in that size.

he might have had to do modifications to make those fit stock height without rubbing

Either way, I think that tire size is perfect on stock height. Any rubbing with that offset? Which is also perfect in my mind. Love the bronze wheels with the bronze oxide colour.

Well done!

Easy mistake. I’m planning a 75 profile fitment and would have liked to have purchased the KO 3’s.

I have the bronze oxide OR 6’ box hung up in Vera Cruz. Your interior pictures answered my question on seat color. Is the floor carpet black or gray?

Nah they are indeed KO3. I absolutely knew they were 285/70R17 but made a typo! I’m happy with this size!

I measured the bottom center fender height before and after the tires:

Before: 36.5 front/38 rear
After: 37 front / 38.5 rear

Either way looks good! I’ll probably end up with 285/75 but that’s looks great too!

The truck only has 80 miles on it, 36 on the new tires. Never had a chance to get a good pre-tire swap fuel economy. Currently showing 11 mpg 😆 but all the miles have been city/shorter drives. The KO3s are notably heavier than the stock tires!

Nice improvement discovered compared to Gen3 - the AC drain line is located on the passenger side and no longer drips on the frame!
