I used a consumer grade Ceramic on my truck after getting the PPF applied. It works great and is less tricky to apply than the pro stuff. As far as I can tell the biggest difference is how long it lasts, and it is way less expensive.

I hardly ever have to wash my truck because driving in the rain actually cleans it up, I only wash it when it gets seriously dirty.

Love to hear this. Definitely going to take my time with this. I wish I enough space in my garage to work in a closed area like the dude in the video

I used Meguiars M888, Ive used a few others but I liked the Meguiars stuff. Lot of work in the prep, I like to give myself 3 or more days of downtime for the vehicle. I do the entire vehicle though, tail lights etc. and under body is coated in Fluidfilm. Im in Iowa and the amount of salt they put on the roads is unreal. Lot of car washes in the winter.

I have had good results from Meguiars products just like @Drifte has. I used Griot's ceramic because I have used their finishes for a long time and always been happy with them.

I used Nano Bond with good results after watching Project Farm. I also use Griots Ceramic 3-1 ceramic as a touch up maybe every 3-4 washes. It does help keep crap off a bit but winter salt spray is a bitch..
