Hell yeah the TRD Sport is the sports car of pickup trucks!
Most of the time, pickups spend their time on paved roads. I love all of the fancy Bronco's out there that will never go off-road, but not knocking them, they look sweet.
I never owned a TRD Off-Road, never needed it from racing down in Baja to more end of the world survivable trucks. Never cared for the sticker, better to build a lesser grade up anyways.
My actual first pickup and new vehicle I ever bought was my 2005 Tacoma X-Runner, and 1 month after purchase I was autocrossing it. Way better suited for high-speed on road courses.
After a few off-roaders, no TRD Off-Road just an SR5 and SR, I went back to my roots with a 6MT TRD Sport. Getting older and spending more time on the roads traveling. Due not get me wrong, the TRD Sport will off-road with the best of them with proper tires.
