I just had a 30K factory service. Seems like they did very little besides changing the oil and filter, and inspecting the floor mat. Admittedly, they say they inspected a few other things, but this so-called service cost me a very long wait. I was there for almost three hours, and struggled to stay sane.

Anyways, I read the manual and it seems the only significant additional maintenance required at 30K is to retorque the propeller shaft bolt. Oddly enough, they didn't do that. What I'm wondering is when I should get other fluids changed. Does anyone have recommendations?

I don't claim to be an expert at this and I'm sure there will be at least 27 different opinions on this issue, but I change the oil in the differentials and transfer case every 60,000 and the transmission fluid every 100,000.

FWIW, I'm at 210,000 on my 2007 V6 Long bed with no issues.

Thanks. I appreciate your advice. It does seem about right.
