I’m now concerned officially. I’m getting a TRD Off-road hybrid and was under the impression payload would be the 1709lbs figure that has been discussed. Am I hearing that only Trailhunter and pro hybrids can take the 1709lbs payload. Me Confused.

No, the Trailhunter also can't take the 1709lbs. That was a preliminary figure. It is now 1215 or 1245 per above (depending on bed length). Pro will be 1200.

So looks like there really isn’t any significant payload differences with hybrid or all gas versions.

Shame on Toyota.

With my TRD Sport 6MT coming soon, I am ditching the factory 265/65 and going with:
