Just to confirm, you have the premium with all of the trailer assist / brake controller settings right? This looks better than the DD hitch mount, but I don't want alerts popping up and to lose my safety systems because the 7 pin thinks there is a trailer connected.

I got the one I linked. I have had no issues. It does not think there is a trailer on the back. Everything operates as normal.

Honestly you will not be disappointed. Especially if you use your video rear view and not the normal rear view. The spread of light is nice and really helps in the pitch dark.No worries. I got impatient and ordered the LPR version last night
