Does the TRD Sport come with 4-way / 360 degree cameras?

Does the TRD Sport come with 4-way/360DEG cameras? I believe they are standard on the Limited, right?

You will need to wait until Toyota releases the specs for each trim or pour over all of the video content out there to see if it is mentioned.

I did a build of the sport and I believe it came when I added the premium package

It sounds like youre talking about a dealers dashcam, not toyotas.

If so, they arent used together one would assume.

Assuming you mean this one I would say no. Also I think it is only forward facing and not a 360.

Right, that one looks like it has the dashcam on the unit itself. This one, I'm guessing ties in with the 360 cameras on the truck? Can anyone confirm?

I entered the limited trim and says it may not be compatible. If any trim would be then it would be the limited. Guess you will need to contact toyota for an official answer.

I think you need whatever package comes with the 360 view... but again, no one has confirmed.

Yep, that is why I selected the Limited trim. Comes with the PVM alredy.

That dashcam definitely doesn’t work with the the 360 cameras.

more importantly, doesn’t the 360 have a dash view? Why would anyone need this in addition to 360?

2 different things for different applications. Dash cam to record incidents and accidents VS 360 camera to allow you to park correctly, see objects around you, etc. What Ruissimo is looking for is something that gets him to a system like what Tesla has.

Correct. I've got a deposit on a Trailhunter which I believe comes equipped with a 360 view instead of simple backup camera (for backing up, parking etc. This is similar to what I have in my current vehicle). I also want a dashcam - I've had one in my last 5 vehicles. My current camera is dual (front and rear). If I could get an integrated 360-degree view dashcam with decent resolution, I'd probably go that route. That's why I'm asking, but it appears it's a new dealer added option on 2024's going forward.

We have the Toyota 360 camera setup in our Rav4 Prime. I'm guessing the setup in the new Tacoma will be similar. It is no where near the same resolution as the Tesla, and as far as I've seen there is no way to record or export the video from the 360 system. It is not a good exchange for a dashcam, as it only really looks about 2-3 feet out from the edges of the vehicle. We have supplemented ours with a garmin dashcam.
