EKR Seat Covers Install issue 2024 Tacoma SR5

Anybody else put in seat covers yet got some ekr covers for our 2024 SR5 and there's a random wire that's just in the way when trying to install them is there a way to get around that or just leave it kind of like I have it in the picture it's whatever wires are in that brown clip under the seat we do have heated seats so idk if their part of that possibly thanks for any help or advice ekr directions have been terrible and I had to search all over to find out about the 2 elastic straps to access the back of the seat
Covers look like they will turn out and fit great if I can get them all the way installed

Hey man, slide the wire all the way to the left so that it protrudes through the slit. Then you should be able to tuck it where it won't have any pressure on it.

Hey this things driving me and my wife crazy I believe the black wire is the heated seats and it doesn't feel like it has much give to it it's attached to a clip under there we can't figure out how to close everything up and none of the videos online show how does the little pouch I pulled through from the seat back not attach anywhere? And what do I do with the original seat back that had to be unstrapped from underneath to access the inside of the seat? The direction book that came with them doesn't even show how it goes back together they look great but their a real pain and install is just so confusing

Watch all the videos all the way through. Most of this is covered in the videos.

The black wire is either the heated or adjustable seats. Where it comes out of the seat, move it to the slit on the far left. The wire will then be tucked behind the flap easier.

The part you pull through has velcro on it. I believe there is a soft part of the upper section that it velcros to, but I dont remember. I would have to see pics of all the pieces again. I remember I had to pull it really hard to get the velcro to reach wherever it goes.

I folded the orginal seat back underneath the cover. This gets it out of the way.

I recommend watching the videos again before touching it again. I would also just do it by yourself. Two people aren't needed. Once you get one done the rest is easy. Make sure you have the right headrests because putting a rear one on the front seat is a bitch haha. That was the first mistake I made.

I got the front passenger seat and the backseat done backseat was so much easier I ended up just leaving the seat cord laying across the pouch pulled through the chair I pulled like crazy and stretched that thing as much as I could without tearing it and it still wouldn't reach the little Velcro strip on the seat back so it's all just tucked in there neatly not visible but all In all turned out pretty good my flash made chairs look grey but their the black polyester ones I don't see any way that cord could get pinched or grabbed bc it's pretty much just laying on top of that fabric nice and gentle
