I've had many flat tires in my lifetime, but never had one caused by a rock before. Sadly, it wasn't even that sharp. First time ever running Falken tires. Seeing how my driveway is a quarter mile long and all gravel, I'm a little concerned. Anyone else had any problems with their Falken tires?

Rule of thumb, get rid of OEM tires, budget replacements with larger diameter.

2010 SR5, sold the OEM tires to the used sales guy... 265/75 R16 replaced with

2016 SR, sold the OEM tires to the used sales guy... 265/75 R16 replaced with

2024 TRD Sport, sold the OEM tires to the used sales guy... 265/70 R18 replaced with

All 3 replaced with KO's or KO2's.

Got Toyo Open Country A/T 3’s 255 80r17 for my ‘24 and I’ve loved em, pizza cutters do better in the snow up here in the mountains. I sold the stock h/t’s to a nice guy trying to get some tires for his wife’s minivan at a pretty steep discount after about 2k miles, wasn’t really about the money but glad they got safe tires for the family car

OEM tires and wheels stacked in the garage. BBS forged wheels and KO3 tires (265/70/18) taking a beating the past couple of weeks hauling top soil, furniture and miscellaneous shit like bring it MOFO.

Zero issues.

Super cool. I've had Toyo Open Country before on my Jeep. Good tires.

The stock Wildpeaks are garbage. AT3W-A, they are specifically made for Toyota by Falken. Lighter weight, no snow rating, less wear layer. Is that what you have?

No, my Toyota came stock with BFG Trail Terrain TAs that were specially made for the toyota.
Great on the street, I bought a 4 wheel drive pickup, not a Soccer mom car.
They are worthless as tits on a nun off-road?
I have 20 acres in Eastern Washington.
And these are the appropriate tires for the rocks and the snow I deal with

And forgive me, I thought you purchased the Falcons.
They're a great tire for many applications, but rocks and sidewalls are not one of them.

Ya I am not knocking the AT3W or AT4W. Just the cheaper “A” version Toyota is putting on the new hybrids to try and make ridiculous fuel economy. They are garbage for almost any off road use.
