FLAT 450 miles in ! stock tires,spare wheel & Method rims

450 miles on my new Taco , taking the wife to SFO 4 xmas trip , crossing the Golden Gate I get a low pressure warning (didnt know i had that ) by 19th ave i got a flat @ 6am , AAA changes the wheel to the temp spare , a black alloy skinny wheel as the pic shows . Boy what wild ride that was going back over the GG & Up the Waldo grade to Marin . fishtailing in the mist covered grade on any slight turn , on the way down i felt like it was doing a 3 wheel drift
i went to the tire shop on the way home stock tires r thin cheap garbage ,tiny piece of metal btw . went 2 a bigger tire as well lt265/70r17 10 ply Big Foot Big O A/T II
Now I also mounted my stock tire to a stock alloy wheel that came with the taco

what I learned , a full sized stock wheel fits in the spare tire holder
I now have a SAFE spare wheel assy
who knew that spare was soooo dangerous ?
I now have extra stock alloy wheelz to give away to anyone who can pick up one !

pretty surprised by the smooth ride of the new tires , lower road noise than the stock tire as well
they r bigger , look way better pretty happy all around
now on to fender flairs

It was foggy AF this morning and evening in Marin. 37 was pea soup thick tonight. Glad you’re safe And I like them new rims. Good choice.
