Found Detachable Steps for OEM Rock Sliders

I came across this product on Amazon and wanted to share to see if anyone has installed these yet. I was looking for steps but do not want to get rid of the OEM sliders; these seem to be a good option.

I just put mine on today, took about 10min. I only got 1 set for now

Someone, perhaps the poster here, had these on the FB Trailhunter group. Wife has trouble getting in and out of the truck, so these removable steps seem to be the answer.

Thank you for sharing this. I ordered them. Now I'm debating whether to just install them on the right side of the truck because that's where the ladies sit...

I bit the bullet and ordered them yesterday. They got here today (actually, one of the two sets did, the only only arrives on Saturday).

I installed the two that came on the passenger side, where most of the complaining originates lol

What is your opinion of the quality? Will they be New York strong against corrosion?

They're solid - not going anywhere.

Will they rust? I think eventually, yes. The grooves on the step itself are going to be great to get mud, dirt and snow off your boots, but eventually the paint will wear off and New York will eat them. Eventually.

The county highway department was been using Fluid Film here for years on their equipment with good results. I had mine done immediately. It doesn’t really dry but cakes over and greys out with dust. Time will tell.
