So this brings up the question what the front and rear aux connectors are, and where you get the connector hardware for that little two pin connector jobbie.

Great pictures, thanks! Did that panel just pop out pulling on the bottom, does it just swivel from the top?
Starting from the top below the Tim panel pull it out slowly. Make sure you have removed the lower kick panel under the dash first , two screw holds it in. the switch panel just pulls out towards the seat and down.

Does anyone know if Toyota prewired heated seat wiring in the 2024 Tacomas even if they didn’t have that option? Could someone who has a Tacoma with heated seats include a photo of your under seat wiring? Thanks!

Salesman told me (take it with a grain of salt), that they are doing a brake controller install in a week. They will wire the whole thing, hooked up to the brake pedal switch. They apparently found the wire that goes from the cab to the brake pin on the 7-pin under the rear seat, so they will only need to run a wire from the dash to the back seat.

They are not that hard to wire, I've done it before. However, it's much cleaner and easier with a harness. I don't know why they felt the need to save 75¢ on a 50K$ truck.

I will do it myself when I get mine, I don't trust the dealer to do it, wiring is not their specialty. There's other specialty shops I'd trust more.
Two starting points for the brake controller:

Looks like there's some options.
