Yeah I used the grommet on the passenger side firewall for my antenna and it was one of the easiest runs ever.

Also yes, I usually run my USB with a 12V converter straight to the battery with a fuse so I have a pair of always on USBs for charging devices at camp.

Also thinking more clearly, I'm going to see if I can order that 8" dash trim panel from Toyota and we can just mimic the shape. Pretty confident the mounts are the same.

Thank you so much - just purchased!!!!

Iā€™m also hunting around for a solution to mounting an aluminum extrusion contraption to the top of my double cab. Would you ever consider selling the mounting brackets for your roof rack alone?

Not sure what was up, I'll make sure it's showing up in the 4g taco category in a bit here.

Update: I tried the link again in incognito and it worked.
Hey @Victory 4x4 just wanted to flag I wasnā€™t able to find this product on the site today. I tried searching ā€œdash mountā€ and also clicked on the link above and it didnā€™t load.
Looking forward to getting this in my truck and hoping it will work with the 8ā€.

Something is wonky, the link worked for me yesterday, and it just worked for me again right now on a different computer.

That's interesting. Device and browser?
It's working fine for me on desktop and mobile, we would be happy to take your order over the phone if that works for you. 269-353-1184

So mine arrived last week- it looks good, but damn the mounting brackets are kicking my ass. The legs are not spaced correctly for my Tacoma- they are about 1/32 too close for the mounting bolts to go back into the dash. I put them in a vise and stretched the legs apart a bit to get them to mount up without skewing the dash bolts. I guess the mount is supposed to pinch the dash material at the edges- because I canā€™t get the four bolts to line up well enough with the mounting brackets- itā€™s a matter of trying to hold them in place while you tighten the dash bolts down, as the design lets them walk under the bolt heads. My hardware kit came with some plastic spacers, which Iā€™m going to use as I donā€™t want the mount to touch and rub a hole in the dash, which it definitely will do over time. So far, Iā€™ve given up on it- Iā€™ll try again tomorrow. Very frustrating piece of kit.

I received the Dash Accessory Mount on Friday for my '24 TRD Pro. It is a beautiful piece of steel. I however found an issue with the brackets. To line up the holes of the top of the bracket with the holes in the Mount, the base of the brackets sit partially on the lip of steel that the OEM hardware came out of. I did get it to finally all line up, but you can not completely screw down the OEM screws back into their holes. The Mount sits firmly, but I do have concern that the lack of a complete seating of the base of the brackets may lead to issues down the road.
The hardware came with an additional set of four mount screws that are silver, four clip-on nuts and four plastic spacers. Unsure what they are for and there is no mention of them in the instructions.
The Mount was perfect to put my 500dr control head on. With a ram mount arm I brought it over to sit to the side of the multimedia screen above my instrument cluster. It looks sharp. My wife even liked how it looked and she never finds my radio setups attractive.

Yep I was looking for this thread to report I hade the same issue with the brackets. I put them in a vice and moved the holes around until they lined up correctly with the factory holes on the dash. This meant that the rest of the holes mounting to the main plate didnā€™t line up. In addition, without spacing the plate up with those black spacers, the edges of the plate rub on the main dash component, and itā€™s not square with the back of the screen. This will end up rubbing holes in the dash material from vibration. My take: I have the plate, but Iā€™d recommend people wait until they fix the mounting legs or look for another option.

Hey guys, let me relay this information back to my engineering team so we can see what's going on. Have either of you reached out to our tech support team? Just in case they are already relaying this information.
