Hood Latch would not shut!

First time opening the hood on my new Pro... would not latch/shut! Took to dealer, was a quick adjustment to fix it. Just wondering how they could miss something like that?

@Davesnhere Yeah, doing that extensive PDI would have caused them to open the hood many times, right? A new predelivery check might be, "does hood latch?.

They really did look at all that stuff, right? lol

Mine is pretty tight. You have to drop the hood from about 20".

20" is a lot more than normal, so your latch must be really tight.

An adjustment would probably fix that, but it should not have come as far as the buyer without it being fixed already.

Maybe Toyota was trying to stop the hood shake, so they set the latch super tight.
