All of my air dam screws are still there so it's not that.

I checked the size and it's a standard screw head, not metric (between 6 & 7 mm), so it is likely a metal roofing screw. Lucky it wasn't sticking out of my tire.

Lucky is right.
When I moved and cleaned out my garage it cost me 2 tires.
