Just recently traded in my 4Runner For a fourth GEN Tacoma. This will be my third Tacoma and I noticed that the seatbelt is different on the new Fourth GEN And they have been on the third GEN or The 4Runner. It’s up higher than it used to be and sits directly against my leg and my stomach. Initially, this isn’t a big deal until it starts to actually kind of dig into my gut or my leg making a little bit uncomfortable while driving longer distances. Is anybody else had to deal with this and if so, what is the remedy for this issue?

I'm having trouble trying to picture how a seat belt is coming in contact with your leg, meaning the side of your upper thigh, near your waist? Honestly I find the truck to be quite comfortable, and don't have any creature comfort complaints. I'm sure there's some kind of seat belt thing you a probably find on Amazon to help alleviate your pains/issues as a thought.

Did you test drive, or even sit in one of these before buying, or do you just want to complain about stuff? Maybe you're just trying to up your thread count on the forum as you have another "concern" started today that I see.

Lol, unless you're really reefing it down when you strap in, I don't see how this is actually that tight?

"My" complaint with the seatbelt is more the size of the actual buckling mechanism. When I release it, its always sideways and is stuck between my seat and door frame turned 90degrees and will not come forward until its flipped flatwise. PITA but 1st world problems
