The wrap looks great but thank goodness that you clarified the guy in the picture did the wrap and is not the owner. Didn’t think those Corcs went with a Taco, maybe camo Crocs…

At least you were smart… @Slappy — part of my 2 shops is vinyl wraps and I always advise my customers if door handles are available in the color you want or you can have downtime, don’t wrap them. Those and the grille areas are the biggest parts to have vinyl deteriorate or get hit. It’s easy to wrap both but even if they are careful when opening doors, people can drag their nails or the oils can fade the area quickly. I tell people there is also a difference in companies… 3M is a widely loved provider and make all kinds of adhesives and materials but they are the only ones who will hold that 7-10yr lifespan and esp on offroad or track vehicles, it’s a thicker product so it is more like a color modified PPF. Companies like Oracal are good but they are meant for smaller jobs like stickers and decals since they are a thinner material and they offer a little more color but they use their own adhesives. Then there’s Avery Dennison. AD has a broader spectrum of colors available and are the middle ground for thickness between 3M and Oracal. Depending on your color variance, performance level and supplier,Avery uses 3M adhesive and transfer paper but their vinyl is all them… like Real Truck owns BAK, Roll-N-Lock, Undercover, etc. it’s all the same products but the difference is the thickness, quality of rubber, hinges and locking system, even down to the hardware like screws that is the big swing in price and cost. But looks good brother. Just treat it like Tony and don’t wash it for a week or get near a pressure washer, the adhesive needs time to set in place but the weather is a big factor on that note too…

$200 is a bit steep, for everything you did, I would’ve charged about $1200. I wrapped a “color flip” the other day for a Civic that wanted to go from blue to a neochrome green/purple so I ended up wrapping the door jambs too so it didn’t look half-assed. Now if he had gone white or black to another color, that’s easier since it’s a complimentary color. What people don’t understand (he didn’t) when I did the initial quote was $7500 ($4000 for material and the $2000 in labor), many shops don’t but I do req 3 days… the first to take everything apart like headlights and taillights, body kit, wing, door handles, debadging, etc, then full alcohol bath detail, the second is to do the wrap and third to finish wrapping it up (pun intended) then reassemble. If you leave something simple like a body kit or wing on, when the car flexes or twists, it pulls and wrinkles. Then he understood. For yours, I would’ve used a plotter for the doors, wrapped the roof with Edge Seal tape and not had to disassemble anything but still give it a bath, plus incl a bottle of vinyl detailer and how to clean it properly. Do yourself a favor, on Amazon or even ExtremeTerrain, there’s a Chemical Guys product I suggest you use to keep the vinyl looking new and extend the life. Try it on your roof and you’ll see how beautiful it stays.
