Yeah, well it could have been worse, but that still sucks.

Ice can damage your truck pretty much like large rocks will. Nasty stuff. I bet that is going to cost some money to replace the broken bits.

Oh yea, got on the windshield too and I'm honestly surprised it didn't shatter it.
$925 for all 3 parts shipped. Local dealer wanted $740 for just the shutter.

Yep, it's the shutter. There are multiple slats that are broken, and I would assume that it tried to actuate and close and couldn't because of those slats.

From what I can tell from the previous threads about the shutter issues with the connections getting water in them, it is perfectly fine to drive.
