I'm very satisfied with the Beat Sonic Amp. Greatly improved the sound quality.

I think each person's ears are tune differently, but for me unfortunately, I have to agree that JBL system isn't to my liking. My last car was a base Golf GTI 2019 and that sounds better than this JBL systems.

BeatSonic amp does help, but I am hoping that more plug and play (without cutting stock wiring) will flood the market soon so we will have more options to choose.

The Taco's JBL sound system is just OK IMO. It would be good as a standard system, but for an upcharge it is pretty disappointing. My other trucks with JBL were much better although definitely too focused on the front center speaker.

I bought a Beat Sonic amp, which gets good reviews and will have the time to install it in a day or two. I don't expect any miracles, just an improvement while I wait to see what to do. I played around with the limited soundfield controls they give you, but everything I tried seemed to only make the sound worse.

I am leaning to @Vidman's solution of ripping it all out and putting in a real premium sound system. My Pro is just too nice a truck to have a mediocre sound system IMO.

I feel it doesn't get loud enough. Especially when playing RUSH!
