I'm very satisfied with the Beat Sonic Amp. Greatly improved the sound quality.

I think each person's ears are tune differently, but for me unfortunately, I have to agree that JBL system isn't to my liking. My last car was a base Golf GTI 2019 and that sounds better than this JBL systems.

BeatSonic amp does help, but I am hoping that more plug and play (without cutting stock wiring) will flood the market soon so we will have more options to choose.

The Taco's JBL sound system is just OK IMO. It would be good as a standard system, but for an upcharge it is pretty disappointing. My other trucks with JBL were much better although definitely too focused on the front center speaker.

I bought a Beat Sonic amp, which gets good reviews and will have the time to install it in a day or two. I don't expect any miracles, just an improvement while I wait to see what to do. I played around with the limited soundfield controls they give you, but everything I tried seemed to only make the sound worse.

I am leaning to @Vidman's solution of ripping it all out and putting in a real premium sound system. My Pro is just too nice a truck to have a mediocre sound system IMO.

Get the sonic beat amp booster. It def makes a huge difference. I also boosted bass and brought down the highs and mids just a tad. Also might make a difference turning off the noise cancelation in the cab and the engine sounds with a carista. I've had mine off for a while but I think I'm going to see how it sounds with it on again just to see if it actually bothered me.

I went to Beat Sonic a few days ago in La Mirada and they installed the amp for me. Dramatic increase in sound and volume. The guys were friendly and did the job in less than an hour. I'm very please with this upgrade. This is what the JBL speakers need.

After six months of ownership, the best I can say is the JBL doesn't have a center channel problem so much as it has a tweeter problem; the tweeters stick out too much, don't face the driver or passenger properly, and their sound is basically lost in the cabin. TERRIBLE DESIGN.

Want proof? Move your head to the middle of the cabin (right on top of the center console).

Sounds 100x better.

The BeatSonic plug and play mini amp is the easiest and cost effective for the major upgrade it brings. You won’t be disappointed!

Totally agree!

Yesterday I spent several hours driving my truck and listened to some favorite music for the first time since installing the Beat Sonic amp. Being really familiar with these albums let me make a good comparison and the sound is improved a lot. I heard some clear highs and voices which were muted and muddy before installing that amp.

Still not perfect but much better and I find it good enough for now and maybe forever.
