Largest Diameter Tire on Donut Spare?

What’s the largest diameter tire mounted on the donut that fits? I’d even be ok with airing it down slightly. Right now I was planning on using a 235/85R17 on the donut. This is the same diameter as a 285/70R17.

I’d like to use a 295/70R17, but not sure there is room to fit a 255/80R17 on the donut.

Looks like 235/85R17 is only found in temporary spares. Tirerack has a goodyear one for $471 (gasp)
255/80/17 is close (10"w 33.1" d). Can find all-terrain versions. Looks like only in LT.
