Lasfit bed liner for power tailgate?

Has anyone in here put the lasfit bedliner in your bed that has the power tailgate? I ordered the bedliner from them and ordered the floor mats for the hybrid on 10/16/24. This was the description for the bedliner when I order it

They are sending me the bedliner separately because the floor mats for the hybrid haven’t been released yet. But now the description for the Berliner says it doesn’t fit the power tailgate.

I’m just wondering what is it that makes it not fit and if it is something I can fix by doing a little trimming or something?

I put one in my TRD Off Road with a power tailgate with five foot bed and it fits perfectly and the tailgate operates just fine.

thanks man. I didn’t figure there would be much difference if any at all. I just thought it was strange that they changed the wording so it says doesn’t fit power tailgate.

I tried the 6' bed Lasfit in my Trailhunter for a week/ didn't affect my tailgate operation. Took ~4 days for the plastic to flatten. Maybe over time the rear cove base on that plastic will deform and push on the tailgate? I guess cross that bridge when you get there and trim the liner.

Ultimately returned it and getting a complete bedrug insert instead. But I preordered the Lasfit floor mat kit for the hybrids.

I had never heard of bedrug before. I looked them up and it looks nice. I wonder how it would hold up over time in the weather. At this point and time I am not planning on getting a cover or topper for the truck. Would be interesting to see how lon

yea I have a GFC camper on it now, adds a more upholstered vibe, but these bed rugs are super tough / weatherproof. They’ll hold some water but dry quickly too. I use it as my Great Dane’s outdoor bed mats. They take a beating under he sun for 4 years now have yet to deteriorate.

Thanks man. That’s good to know. I will have to check it out if the lasfit doesn’t work out.

I don't know about the bed mat, i bought the Lasfit tailgate mat. It prevents the power tailgate from closing. I have to push the tailgate closed, when I open the tailgate it makes a popping noise like it's in a bind. Lasfit said they are working on a mat for the power tailgate, another Tacoma Owner said they have the same mat and power tailgate, no issues. Anyone experience this?

Its a mat that covers the tailgate to protect from scratches and dents.
