There are 2 pieces i haven’t mounted on my roof yet to keep the cover upright. i was just holding it up with my fingers for the picture. i was waiting for my westcott design roof rack to come in before i mounted those magnetic mounts.Nice. I just installed the non-stance version. Fits nice. I thought for the stance you had to install something on the roof to secure it in the upright position, but I guess that wasn't necessary?
I ordered it through Luke at truck altercations. was able to get a pretty good deal. ~$965 shippedWhat vendor did you use to order the cover?
It comes with 2 mounts that's supposed to get stuck to your roof. Has 3m tape applied and comes with adhesive promoter. I haven't installed the mounts yet.I'm about to buy a bed cover for my 2024 Tacoma, and I'm deciding between the BakFlip MX4 and the Lomax Stance.
I had the BakFlip on my third-generation Tacoma and liked it, but it had water leaks.
I've read that the Lomax Stance is a better option, but I have one question:
How does the Lomax Stance secure itself when folded against the rear window? (This is one of the features I liked about the BakFlip MX4.)
I need to drive with the cover fully folded, and the MX4 worked perfectly for that with its supports.
Now, I see that the Lomax Stance doesn’t have supports to hold it up, just two latches that I think attach to the cab roof. How do these latch? Do they screw in or secure in some way to keep the cover vertical?
