Everyone seems to know the infamous 2nd gear clunk by now, shifting from first to second is rough and clunky, no surprises.
But now that I'm finally running 4H a lot with the northern Canada snow, I noticed that shifting from 1-2 is buttery smooth in 4H, no clunk, in fact, shifting in general into any gear is like butter.
Anyone else notice this same thing?
Wondering if it's worth mentioning to the dealer during a service.
What would cause the shifts to be smoother when in 4H? There was no doubt that the clunk in 2H definitely sounds like it comes around the driveshaft area. But I shook it off as everyone else seems to complain about the same thing.
