Mirror Cap Covers

Does anyone know the correct part numbers for the top mirror cap covers on 4G Tacos equipped with turn signals on the side view mirrors?

There seems to be a bunch of different part numbers coming up as a direct hit on Toyota's part website. My guess is the variance may be for the models with or without turn signals, however, the listings don't seem to specify that, just the colors, primarily.

The universal prefix for mirror cap covers for most Toyotas are :

87915 (for RH)
87945 (for LH)

Those are typical followed by some model code, then the color.

For instance, 87945-AK030-E0 and 87945-AK020-E0 both show as exact fits on a 24 Limited Tacoma. However, I'm not sure of the difference between these two options.

The primary model options that seem to be available for the model are AK030 and AK020. But no clue which part is the right fit. I'm looking to delete the chrome caps on my Limited and prefer not to go the tacky stick-on cover route.

I contacted Toyota, which as usual, was no help, and pointed me to the dealership - equally unhelpful, unsurprisingly.

Anyone have an idea what the actual part number is?

Alright, decided to just take a gamble.

I found through further research that the AK010 suffix was only for the matte black unpainted plastic part, and the part for my truck (chrome) was AK040.

So figuring the only other options were AK020 and AK030, if the numbers went up by trim, I kinda guessed AK030 would be the right part.

Appears so - got them in today and the AK030 parts do have the cutouts for the turn signals. My guess is the AK020 does not.

Now I just need to figure out the situation on the handles....

Painted Cap w/o Turn Indicator (XX for color):

As a note - I'm making an assumption on the AK020 parts, as the AK030 did have the turn indicator cutout. Given that, I'm 99.9% sure based on the other part codes being for the chrome and unpainted finishes.

My mirror caps are supersonic red now thanks to you gurvy. Probably going to wrap the handles matte black since i have the black trd wheels and blacked out emblems.

Correct. Same part # I purchased. Just select the right color or black if you prefer.
