Yesterday my TRD Sport went in for its first service. All was basically good. When I got it home I decided to reset the MPG gauge to “0” ( litres per 100 km. here in Canada )and start fresh. I reset it through the gauge cluster as well as on the 14” screen. As I drove today the gauge numbers were fluctuating all over the place . From 99 liters per 100 km to 13 liters per 100km then back up to 60 liters per 100 km. etc. All in a matter of 30 seconds or so and it continued while I was driving. Anyone have an idea how to correct this.?Is this something done by the dealership? Maybe when the maintenace reminder was reset. I am stumped. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

it calculates average mpg based on the distance driven (higher mpg on highway, lower on local streets)

once reset you need to accumulate distance again to accurately display your average
