Howdy 4G People, I acquired my 24 Taco almost 3 months ago. She is a white, TRD Sport with several bells and whistles, some of which I am still learning. I had a 2nd Gen "Deluxe" for 27 years before I was guilted in to selling it. I wasn't driving it, but still....... I missed having a truck the day after I got rid of my last one. Now, recently retired, I wanted another Toyota and this one had just the right stuff I was looking for. Just moved to southern Indiana from AZ. Did my 5 decades plus there and now enjoying something entirely different. Looking forward to learning and reading about all the different rigs out there.

Welcome!!!

I just picked up an Off-Road two weeks ago. After owning nothing but white vehicles for decades I decided to change things up and go with the hard to find Solar Octane. I won’t be hunting for my vehicle anymore in a mall parking lot😁

The 4th Gen a nice upgrade from my previous 2019 3rd Gen Tacoma. Virtually everything is new or refreshed.

Toyota finally solved the poor driver ergonomics, gear hunting has been totally eliminated with the 8 speed tranny and I actually prefer the high torque 2.4 T over the previous naturally aspirated 3.5L V6. The deeper pickup box (2”) is icing on the cake.

My first mod was a set of LasFit LED front turn signal bulbs to replace the old school halogens. A Gator rolling tonneau cover is the next mod on my list.

I eventually plan on replacing the OEM wheels and tires with a set of 17” Method 305 wheels, 285/75/17 Falken Wild Peak tires and a Westcott collar lift.
