I will have My TRDoff road hybride first week of décember ( I live in Canada) I hope it was built after those VIN. When did they stop building Tacoma with transmission issue?

Not to be Mr Doom and Gloom, but the first 2024 LC transmission failure has just been reported by a credible source. Makes sense - it is the same transmission Tacomas have, but this is the first one that I have seen.

Yep - he posted on another forum hoping to learn more about what he is facing. It is interesting that his dealer is also going to change the engine control module, although he is not certain why.

Some guy on Reddit reported a transmission failure on his LC , who knows could be the same person if not then it’s 2 people
