I finally got the two pipes from AWE keeping me from installing their system. Everything fits; however, it contacts some plastic on the front of the transfer case? I have no clue if it's really a concern, but I assume it is. I'll admit that I'm exhausted and tired of plucking with it. I'll contact AWE Monday, but in the meantime does anyone have any suggestions? I was looking on Amazon and wondering if Titanium Pipe Shield or Ceramic Fiber Paper might be the band-aid I'm looking for? There is enough play that I should be able to slip something in-between.

Yikes. I'm going to assume if you run this exhaust long term you'll end up throwing a check engine light for whatever that controller is, which is probably a similar cost of the exhaust you're trying to install

Looking to buy a 4th Gen taco soon.
When the truck is on, the exhaust will probably vibrate and make intermittent contact. I’m assuming you’ve tried loosening the clamps and bolts and moving the pipe around?

Indeed, in fact I had to use a 5 foot Irwin pistol grip clamp to squeeze all the sections together to get the pipes bottomed out on the pipe flairs. There is no way I can get it to slide forward anymore than it is. The pipe that is touching is the second pipe back from the catalytic converter. The first pipe is bolted to the catalytic converter, so that one isn't budging either. I specifically had to get the clamp out to tighten up the third pipe, which is the muffler, just to get the second pipe seated well to the first pipe. I found it was easier to use the clamps to get the pipes tight together before clamping. Now that I've got some rest, I'll get back under there and see if I can't get it to cooperate.
