New owner with a couple questions.

Hey everybody. I’m picking up a new TRD off road premium long bed tomorrow that I had a deposit on. Pretty excited. I’m wondering if anybody has added the OEM rock sliders from Toyota? I know there are better options probably aftermarket but it’s a lease so I want to stick with the OEM I think. Curious anybody’s thoughts are on them.

Also, does anybody know if 285/70/17 tires will fit the stock rims or are they too narrow? I know that’s the right size with stock suspension, but not sure if they will fit the stock wheels.

If anybody comes up with a way to eliminate the shark fin I’ll buy it.

I have 285/70/17 Falken AT4's on my stock OR wheels and they fit just fine.

Yep - I just ordered mine a couple of days ago and they make them for both bed lengths.

I just purchased the Toyota ones when i bought the truck, but gotta wait a couple weeks for them to show up. I saw them installed on another tacoma at the dealer, and they look quite nice.
