Yeah I was looking at the wrong product number. 1452 lumens, 120 degree spread. Seems powerful enough.
They are great lights for reverse purposes.

I know this is a "Toyota" Thread, but this Demo on a 21 F-150 Raptor is exactly the function and how they operate on your Toyota. Including NONE ARB bumpers. In the standard bumper, they would get brackets and under mount. They are still very low profile though.

And same on a Bronco

In case anyone missed it.

We created the new plug in pig tail to integrate and access your pass throughs as well as the automatic triggers with our tail light adapters. Its the option that says "New".

https://specialtyperformanceparts.c...ht-kit-plug-n-play-srl?variant=46782422417640

You will also notice our Black Friday Sales started TODAY.

Here is a link to that page as well, but they are automatic.

https://specialtyperformanceparts.com/pages/black-friday-2024-deals

So the full new option with pig tail, tail light adapter and short harness for auto triggers, running lights, and switch are $351 on the BFCM deals going on now. There are not many of the Flush mounts left though, so don't sit and wait. We should have more according to Rigid in early Dec. They are a little behind on them.

Other Tacoma Stuff-

I just figured with the topic, I would let everyone know what the deals are on them.

Have them on my Trailhunter.. picked them up from SPV Parts and with their plug and play harness it was a perfect install.. the harness is truly a plug and play and really light the way for backing up in the dark

Can these be wired to the bed scene light switch? I want to increase the approach/courtesy lighting behind the truck.

Probably.

If someone wants to pop of the switch and get me pictures of the connector that attaches to it and the back of the switch. I can see what model connectors they are. Then we would need to know which is the power and ground wire.

I was working on one for the F-150 like that as well.

What you might want to do is wire them into the OEM switch (I swapped out AUX 1,2,3 with CaliRaisedLED switches so as to name them) and just turn them on from there. That gives you more options on how to use them than tying them to bed scene lights... Yes, you would need to click 2 switches but its kind of a minor challenge. Just a thought.

You know I was just having a brain fart. I was convinced the reverse lights didn't come on when you unlock because it's pretty dark behind the truck. I just checked and realized they do come on but the only reverse lights are in the 3rd brake light and that little one in the tailgate. Definitely ordering these from SPV now, I've spooked a bear or two in the morning over the years and it's not fun for anyone! 😂

EDIT: there are reverse lights in the taillights, and they do not come on when you unlock, this makes no sense to me.

Except for maybe the bear! We have a bear touring our yard here, and had one in Woodinville. I have a video of the bear climbing up a bird feeder pole we had there... looked like bear dancing. I installed the winch too high which gave him or her a step up to grab the feeders and hang on them...

Hahaha you'd think so, but the last time I actually woke a sleeping momma and two cubs about six feet from my bumper. I came running down to the truck before sunrise and we all scared the living shit out of each other! I have video from that summer of them in my backyard, her leaning against a tree breastfeeding them, the cubs playing on my lounge chairs and climbing trees. The cubs are so funny to watch!

Well I ordered the SPV kit, now I just need to figure out how to make them fire when I unlock. I'm going to try and get a picture of the bed scene lighting switch to send to @SPV Parts, they're clearly on top of their game and willing to work with us to achieve our lighting goals. Ideally I'd like these to fire with reverse, fire with a switch whether it's the bed scene or an aux, and the only one not currently implemented as far as I can tell is fire with unlock.

Great hearing your story. Yes, John at SPV and his team are at the top of my customer service list. I have rarely seen this commitment to helping members... the money I spent is small compared to their helping me out. I am deeply touched when I see this kind of effort spent... just because the SPV culture is to serve us. I saw this at EXPION 360 during the PNW Overland Exposition. I had an issue with my T@B Trailer and they helped me out... even though I had a competitor's Lithium batteries.

In short... I was so impressed that I had EXPION 360 upgrade my dual lithium battery system in my Rescue Cat Grand Cherokee (SAR jeep!) and also in the companion system in my T@B 320S Boondock trailer.

So these two companies exemplify excellent, 12 out of 10 service. I trust them highly.
