Both are fantastic options, I'm sure. I've got over 9,000 miles on the KO3's already and love them but I haven't seen snow yet and haven't even hardly driven them in the rain so I'm still waiting for those conditions to really call them awesome. So far though I'm very impressed.

These look great. Have you noticed any change in gas mileage?

Canā€™t answer the question about gas mileage. I never checked it before having the new tires installed. I suspect that it did somewhat. I checked it for the first time a couple days ago. I took a short trip, about 200 miles. About 160 miles of it was on the turmpike running 75 MPH. I checked it the old fashion way. Filled up before leaving and stoppinng for gas just before I got home. Divided the miles driven by the gas that I put in. On this trip, mileage was just over 18 MPG. Have no idea what it would have been with the old tires. The truck only had about 850 miles on itd when I got home so it may or may not get a little better when it gets more miles on it. Either way, Iā€™m OK with the mileage.

That really looks sharp. It fills those wheel wells nicely!

How about road noise? Any big difference?

Very slightly if any. You do feel bumps a bit more but not bad at all. What I noticed is that they ate a bit rough on cold mornings. Takes them a few miles to smooth out.

Any updates on rubbing with this setup. I've seen people say that the trailhunter has some rubbing but was curious if the R17 helps with that.

Hey brother, I really want these style tires (KO3 285/70/R17) on my 24 TRD Off Road for both looks and higher ground clearance. Are you sure there are no rubbing at either full turning radius? What about full vertical articulation? Will it hit the top of the wheel well?

Thank you

Sorry. I know there is not rubbing at full lock but honestly havenā€™t tested it in severe off road. Canā€™t answer about the vertical. I donā€™t do any major off roading so wasnā€™t concerned.
