Noise from seat or lumbar support

I’ve been having a noise coming from my seat. It sounds like it is occurring when I go on turns. I have been able to duplicate it when going forward in my seat and pushing my back backwards.
It sounds like the sound is coming from the lumbar support area. Also, when the sound does occur, I can also feel some of the lumbar support move on my back.

is this an expected sound or noise from the seat?

Having the same problem here. Lumbar movement on both seats. The squeaking is awful on the passenger seat. Just slight movement/adjustment in seat and it makes noise like an old sofa.

The new Tundra's also have this issue. The only person I found to have fixed it, unzipped the seat back and lubed the metal rails that the lumbar moves on with a clear silicon grease. Then he moved the lumbar up and down to work it in. Everything else including having the dealer replace parts would result in the noise eventually coming back.

Mine doesn’t squeak when moving the seat but if you press your back into the seat you can feel the support flex and squeak. I’m not blasting the truck, plenty of people are very happy with it.

Same issue with my TRD Pro. I thought it was an ISO seat issue.
The lumbar diagnosis makes sense.

Gah, glad i'm not the only one, more of a creaking noise than a squeak. I thought the seats were telling me to loose a couple of pounds haha. I've gotten use to it, but i've never had such noisy seats before.

yes exactly - creaking. At first I thought it was the “leather” but doesn’t seem like it. It’s definitely more noticeable mid back area. Need to figure out how to reproduce it at will and then bring it to dealer.

I tried adjusting the lumbar support to every setting to see if I could find one that silenced it… not only did none of them work but I’ve made the issue worse! It’s VERY noticeable now and in stop-and-go traffic it’s VERY annoying.
