OnX Off-road And Android Auto

I went out on some trails today and I noticed that OnX flips out on my screen (using Android Auto)whenever the off-road cameras come up. After the cameras show up, when it toggles back to onX, the map zooms out to the US and none of the trails show up. Has anyone seen this and does anyone have a workaround?

I have a trip coming up this weekend that id like to use the onX app for (albeit using carplay).
I'd want to know if this is also an issue with ios users, especially before I pay to use the app.

OnX works great with CarPlay.

Unfortunately switching to an iPhone is not an option. Out of curiosity are you connected via usb or wireless? I tried contacting onX but their support bot is trash.

Interesting. And yours came back fine after the cameras switched on/off? I just updated the app. Maybe it was a bug (or maybe it's just not great on Android Auto :( )

Yes, it works flawlessly.

Update (and this is embarrassing lol). So after complaining about onX I realized that my USB port was the culprit, not the app. There was a pesky piece of lint stuck in the USB port. Once I got that out the connection worked flawlessly. So yeah, clean out your USB port every so often lol.

OnX has always worked flawlessly for me without plugging in my iPhone?
