Just some food for thought. something I noticed today coming home from work. I live in the northeast. And we are currently having some light snow. So I’ll preface this with the fact that I just recently replaced my halogen turn signal/running light? bulbs. For led ones. Coming home today on my 20mile trip home I wiped the headlights clean before departure and started to notice that my headlights became a billboard for snow to collect on. And had loss of light being thrown down the road. And I don’t think there was enough heat generating to melt any flakes laying on the lens. Now do I think a halogen would produce that much more heat? I don’t know. But something I took note of whilst driving. And while yes. I understand that maybe. At some point in driving under heavy snow. That may happen. And you’ll have to clear the lens off. But I’d argue what I was facing was no where near the worst I’ve personally seen so far in regard to flake size. And abundance of flake? If that makes sense. Opinions? I may go back to halogens for more heat build up in the housing
