So I noticed all TRD offroad for example have a 1200 lbs sticker for payload but we all know this is far from accurate. On the Tundra, it was the same story and users found very different actual figures after weighing their truck.
To get a definitive answer we need people who are lucky enough to own a new Tacoma to go weight their truck, WITH a FULL tank of gas, and without them inside (or subtract your weight from the result). Make sure the truck is empty.
Then report it here with a picture of your door sticker with the GVWR. Again make sure it’s an empty truck, full tank, and subtract your weight.
Of course indicate your trim and package.
In the future we will need people with TRD Pros, Trailhunter to do it.
The community will thank you!
