Power Tailgate Won’t Go Up

My Power tailgate worked fine when I picked it up last week. However, now it goes down and if I try to put it up it beeps twice at me. I tried unplugging it to no avail. Is there a sensor in there that has to be aligned before it goes back up? I can take to dealer, but kills a few hours. Thought I’d check here first.

Had the same issue with mine. Got it to work again by closing it manually, then turning off the power tailgate feature on dash. Turn off the truck, turn truck back on as well as the power tailgate feature. Hope it works for yours.

If it keeps coming back I'll play with the top mount and see if I can level the two linear actuators. It's two bolts to take off the tail lights and then gives access to the Torx screws at the top which I assume lets you adjust it a little. Didn't see any adjustment on the linear actuators. Seems to be self contained.
