First truck and I must say it’s been frustrating and fun figuring all this stuff out.

Here’s all the mods I have done with it.

-TRD Exhaust
-Toyota Roof Rack
-ARB sport bar
-Pred Steps
-Ceramic tint (blacked out in the back and the darkest legal limit up front). Also the best at fighting uv rays.
-added rotopax cans
-pelican cases
-ARB rear recovery hooks
-illuminated front emblem (rest of the badging is blacked out
-TRD front skid plate and transfer case skid plate

My quarrel with the roof rack:
-You cannot adjust the bars or add new ones (OEM).
- you get a nasty vibration (not talking noise) around 80mph. Not sure if aero is factoring in with the vibrations.
-the only cases that I have found to fit are pelican (which is a great brand and not complaining about them. They are the best option.) but if you want variety I don’t think you will find much for this rack.

After weeks of discussing with the dealer they are going to switch it out.

Last thing I’m waiting on is them to get a new air compressor as mine in already “chirping”. Sounds like the part is back ordered so it seems like my bank account can recover for a bit before I get more things done to it.

Will you drop the arb sport bar link?
so it’s not on the Toyota genuine parts site right now BUT if you talk to the accessories dept at a Toyota dealership they should be able to source it. I think I paid $1400 out the door and they installed it.

Perfect, thanks. Do you know if there is space, after installed to have a tonneau cover?

so it uses the rails on the sides and front of the bed. If you get the bar then there will not be a way to fit a tonneau cover. Least I have not seen a custom one to work around it
