Hi All,
Installed some front lower link skids from RCI on my taco. Overall pretty easy but here are some tips that may help the install:

Installed some front lower link skids from RCI on my taco. Overall pretty easy but here are some tips that may help the install:
- Loosen the purple 19mm link bolt from the bolt side. The nut side has features on the nut face that prevent it from turning. Once loosened, you can then remove the nut by hand. Follow the instructions for the rest of the install.
- My CBI sliders occupied the same frame hole. (See Pic) Despite that everything bolted on evenly. I had planned to add spacer/washer between the skid and the frame to correct the gap caused by the slider mount thickness but there was none so I didn't need to do that.
- I added anti-seize to all the threads for good measure. Torqued the two upper bolts to "good & tight".
- Torque for link bolts: 140N-m/103 lb-ft. Tighten from the bolt side, not the nut side. As mentioned, the features of the nut will grip on the metal and prevent it from spinning.
- I was able to do this with the vehicle on the ground.
