Nice!

Everything line up as intended?
Yes, everything for the install was fairly straightforward considering the only instructions are online. I did use a cheat code with the install and took it to a buddy’s car shop. Everything lined up as intended. However, whenever I was disassembling the original body sliders, one of the screws was completely stripped and even had metal shavings falling out of the hole once I finally pried it out. Legit took about 30 minutes to get the 1 stripped bolt out that Toyota obviously messed up upon assembling the truck. I’m very satisfied with the rock sliders. I’m 6’1, 170 pounds, and was jumping on both sliders just to test them out because why not. I have 100% confidence these RCI Sliders can hold the weight of the truck and offer plenty of protection.

You had to take off the stock sliders right?
Yes, I did remove the original body sliders. Those original sliders are absolutely trash and would not protect anything. I did run into 1 issue, whenever I was disassembling the original body sliders, one of the screws was completely stripped and even had metal shavings falling out of the hole once I finally pried it out. Took about 30 minutes to get the 1 stripped bolt out that Toyota obviously messed up upon assembling the truck

Yeah everything lined up for me as intended. I got the 5 degree sliders with the top plate. I did slightly break a plastic cap on the passenger side while prepping for the sliders. You’ll know what caps I’m talking about once you install your sliders. Don’t be too bummed out if you break yours. The plastic cap I broke does goes back in, but has a small chip. I got the hang of how to take them out by the time I reached my driver side haha. I’m sure I’ll have to pay Toyota a ransom for those plastic caps tho haha

Those look great @YourOnlineHero - just as I want them to look on my truck.

OK - back to those plastic caps again, which I have already talked to @MT-Taco and @Dagr Wolff about earlier.

I still don't understand why they even have to come out in the first place, since they don't look like they are in the way of anything.

Obviously I have still now watched the install instructions, but I will be doing that soon.

You might be able to complete the install without potentially taking out or damaging the plastic clips. My guess as to why they say to remove them is because someone may not be able to angle the sliders a certain direction during the install and while angling the sliders, they could potentially damage or break the plastic clips. I could also be 100% wrong tho 🤷‍♂️
