Rough downshift only slowing down

Good afternoon, new member here and I have a 24’ with a build date of 11/24. Curious if anyone else’s truck has a rough downshift when slowing down at that 30mph area? Truck shifts great at any other speed. It almost feels like the truck is dropping to a to low of gear when it does it, other than that I love the truck and have had no issues.

What do you consider rough? Mine does downshift at about that speed and does it consistently, it’s noticeable but not what I would consider rough. Mines been that way from day 1.

This has been doing it from day 1 also, I now have 1300 miles on it. It feels like if you ever drove a manual and you went to downshift but dropped it one

Mines not that bad? But it does seem to down shift a little early.

Next time your out driving and your starting to slow down from say 50 or so, watch your speedometer when get to that 30mph mark and see if you feel that more of a aggressive downshift.

Yeh I feel it but it’s not aggressive, just a little nudge.

I get that same kinda rough slip/grab of a gear. By 2010 Tundra did the same thing. Ill keep an eye on it, I havent checked to see if my VIN is on the TSB.

8 sp and plenty of shifting to accommodate speed, load etc. That being said, nothing I would consider "rough", I mean I can just feel it but its smooth, and see the associated rev bump.

Mine only shifts rough when I first drive it. After it warms up it shifts fine. My vin is in the TSB
